BRANDAID Foundation is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to help artisan
microenterprises from developing countries:

develop marketing assets that help them participate more successfully in the global market
improve the living and working conditions in their communities
develop skills so they become self sustaining and independent.

The BRANDAID Foundation is funded through financial and in kind contributions made by foundations, companies and individual donors, celebrity
patrons, advertising and design agencies and the artisan communities. The purpose of the Foundation is three-fold:
Creating Brand and Marketing Assets.
The Foundation provides funds to do upfront research, filming and photography needed for the creation of
artisan brand identity and product marketing materials and in the process helps develop marketing and business knowledge within these communities.
The content that is developed forms the basis of a briefing package provided to participating Advertising Agencies. The Agencies on
a pro bono basis then use the materials to finish the brand identity and microsite. These brand and marketing elements become the
property of the Artisan Communities providing them with an on an ongoing market presence.
Building Stronger Communities.
Funds are used to help create the conditions where Artisan Communities can flourish. This includes health, education and security related initiatives.
Training and education in digital and business skills. Through the development of marketing and brand materials and through
additional training, the Foundation helps build marketing, digital and online media skills needed to manage ongoing artisan marketing,
storytelling and new product introductions.

The BRANDAID Foundation
The BRANDAID Foundation is a proud member project of the
Creative Visions Foundation (CVF) a publicly funded 501(c)3. |

Creative Visions Foundation supports Creative Activists, people who use media, the arts and technology to create awareness of critical issues and
catalyze positive change in local and global communities. Through its three divisions, Inform, Inspire and Empower, CVF, a publicly-funded 501 (c) 3,
helps creative activists transform the world around them.
CVF, based in both Los Angeles and San Francisco, was inspired by the life of artist, adventurer and activist Dan Eldon, killed at the age
of 22 while working as a Reuters photojournalist in Somalia.
The BRANDAID Project now joins the Creative Visions community of "creative activists" who use the arts and media to inform, inspire and
empower positive change in the world around them.
